Founders Story
Justin's story: From Darkness to Light
After my second tour in Iraq, I came home lost and broken, both physically and mentally. The uniform was gone, and with it, my identity. I was a Staff Sergeant with nowhere to go, trying to numb the pain with drugs and alcohol, just trying to survive. My life spiraled until the day I found myself at rock bottom, considering ending it all.
But God had a different plan. He showed up through a person who reached out to me—a woman who is now my wife. She had a joy I couldn't understand. She introduced me to the source of that joy: Jesus.
My transformation wasn't overnight. I was formerly homeless, spending all my money on alcohol, and battling the demons of PTSD. Some days, the pain was so bad I couldn't even get out of bed. But I started my journey with Christ, and with every step, I grew stronger. The more I leaned on Him, the more He healed me and restored my life.
Now, my mission is to share that hope. I am here to show you the way, the truth, and the light. To introduce you to the one who heals, saves, and restores. At Mission 413, we believe that no matter how lost you feel, there is a path to healing, a community of support, and a future filled with purpose.

Apostles David and Tracy Whittington are the founders and senior leaders of Redemption House Life Center, a vibrant, presence-driven ministry committed to going after the Father’s heart. Together, they have established a Kingdom culture rooted in their core values: being presence-driven, seeking God’s heart for others, fostering relationships and unity, and commitment to personal and spiritual growth.
